APEC/Island Engineering - Small engineering firm in Hutto, Texas that opened a branch office in Galveston, Texas in the aftermath of Hurricane Ike in October of 2008. Developed sales strategy that included working with City, County, FEMA, Construction firms, Architects, and other stakeholders to win engineering contracts for the rebuilding effort. Also, targeted adjusters, attorneys, and insurance companies to provide damage assessment studies of storm damaged structures. Generated over $750,000 annual sales in the first year to the branch office, then hired and trained staff to maintain customer relationships and continue sales growth.
Strike Pro Lure Company - International fishing lure manufacturer based in Taiwan with a goal of breaking into the U.S. market. Developed a sales and marketing strategy that included store and online placement through major outdoor retailers and independent sporting goods stores. Developed advertising campaign to include outdoor magazines, fishing tournament sponsorship, outdoor television show
sponsorship, point of sale(POS) promotional displays, and digital presence on website, outdoor blogs, and Youtube videos. Developed strong relationships with market influencers (magazine editors, bloggers, industry experts) to drive product awareness. Was able to get store placement in Cabela's, Gander Mountain, Sportsman's Warehouse, Mill's Fleet Farm as well as over 100 independent sporting goods stores nationwide.
