PROFILE

I’m a Board Certified Family Practitioner that has had the luck and privilege to prac- tice and learn the very broad scope of primary care medicine that has been avail- able to me while raising my 2 sons over the last few years. I started out of residence in a classic Family Medicine practice that I enjoyed for about 7 years, then graduat- ed to Urgent Care Medicine while my boys were active in school and sports to al- low some flexibility in my schedule. I very much enjoyed the fast pace and dynam- ic “see anything” type of environment Urgent Care allowed while still allowing me to retain my primary care skills and add to them. Always having felt that the basis of true health was based in personal health habits and lifestyle, I completed a fel- lowship in Anti-aging and Regenerative Medicine through A4M a few years back furthering my education and knowledge and giving me the confidence to open my own Integrative Medicine practice almost 5 years ago. This practice has been a wonderful combination of Integrative/Functional Medicine, natural hormone re- placement therapies, nutrition and exercise/weight loss practices along with cos- metic/med spa services. While running this practice, I continued to work some in Urgent Care and also Addiction Medicine. I have been a happily busy and diverse physician the last few years. During these last few years, my sons have moved into their higher education phases and are both also on their paths to becoming physi- cians. Yes, I’m proud to have raised such fine young men! With my sons grown and off to school, I now have the freedom to broaden my work horizons some more. As much as I have thoroughly enjoyed starting and running my own practice, I am ready to move to a new area and start a new adventure. I was born and raised in California and have lived/worked in the Tri-Cities area in North East Tennessee/SW VA. for the last 20 years. I have a home in North Carolina as well. I am licensed in both Tennessee and Virginia currently and am working on my North Carolina li- cense at this time.
