BIC Graphic is a privately held promotional products company that prints graphics on items such as BIC pens, ceramic mugs, Koozies, and other drinkware. Managing the activities of three buildings, 230,000 square feet, 7500 pallet positions, over 6,000 SKU’s, and more than 2,000 small parcel /ltl shipments daily.

Served as logistics manager, of the Reynold’s facility, for a $2.5B global company recognized as the leading provider of the household brands Reynolds and Hefty. Originally hired as a unit manager, promoted to distribution manager in 2002, then promoted to logistics manager in 2010.

Directed 3 distribution centers totaling 560K-square feet, with 2 distribution centers storing raw materials with 20K pallet positions. Headed the finished goods distribution center with 320K-square feet, 7,400 bin locations, 42K+ pallet positions, and supported mostly by drive-in racking.

Led annual P&L responsibility with a $5.7M operating budget and $8M transportation budget, while focusing on zero profit erosion.

Supervised 3 direct reports, 8 warehouse team leads, 41 hourly associates, and multiple temporary labor.

Lean manufacturing terms (5S, Kanban/pull systems, cellular flow, value stream mapping).

Designed and initiated/built-up the 320K-square foot distribution center with daily volume of 35-40 truckloads, yielding 1M pounds or 100K cases.
