Global supplier of vehicle access/control, rear seat entertainment (RSE) systems to automotive OEMs
Strategic Business Development
Took innovative technologies, nurtured into production intent products, and determined alignment with customer requirements. I developed and executed a targeted strategy for the West Coast startup EV OEMs to promote the company’s proprietary Bluetooth (BTLE) technology as a smartphone replacement of key fobs and traditional passive entry systems.
Utilized several vehicle demonstrations and proof of concepts (POC) I won the company’s first and only business award for Bluetooth “Phone-as-a-Key” system from Faraday Future in support of their FF91 electric vehicle program’s “Seamless Entry System”. Award included significant upfront NRE, production hardware control module, multiple locating sensors, per vehicle IP license and ongoing software support.
My submission of this now successfully commercialized innovation to Automotive News received a PACE Finalist Award in 2019, giving VOXX industry recognition as a pioneering technology supplier.

As Vice President, lead the North American sales team. Acted as single point of contact for regional performance to corporate executives in the UK in coordination with multicultural team of regional leadership in Europe, South America, and Asia. Supported development of new products to target automotive component suppliers leveraging my GM and Delphi firsthand experience.
As Sales Manager for the Midwest region, successfully met quota to OEMs GM, Ford, Nissan and Hyundai-Kia and Tier 1 suppliers. This included the First Sale to Tier 1 Supplier (Continental) and First Sale to an OEM (Ford) of key incentives data and First Sale to General Motors after company’s 20-year presence in region.

Supported the newly re-acquired Delphi Kokomo manufacturing facility which produced Semiconductor Integrated Circuits (IC), Power Electronics, Engine Controllers and Sensors.

Facilitated the initial critical post-bankruptcy emergence objectives to transition all existing Delphi programs and their entire customer base to the newly formed GM Components Holdings and ensured an uninterrupted supply of components and revenue.
Developed and presented business case proposals to senior management for new technology in efforts to generate additional revenue and increase utilization of the newly acquired IC Fabrication facility and three other former Delphi manufacturing facilities acquired by GM.
DELPHI ELECTRONICS Auburn Hills, MI 2003 – 2009
Global supplier of not only Infotainment Systems: Touchscreen Navigation, OnStar telematics, XM Satellite Radios and SDARS Antennas but also ADAS and Safety Systems: Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Radar Back Up (BUA) and Passenger Occupant Detection Systems (PODS).

Successfully developed cross functional relationship with customer’s engineering, product planning, marketing, and brand development teams to identify target vehicles/programs and outlined roll out plans to meet requirements for future technology and products.
Initiated and executed innovative marketing strategies which obtained substantial incremental revenue and operating income from General Motors: Satellite Radio revenue increased +$10M by implementing “Fast Start” campaign, Navigation Radio revenue increased +$31M by successfully negotiating engineering and marketing changes on two individual truck platforms.
Awarded for “Excellence in Sales and Marketing Performance” by the senior executive Delphi leadership team in recognition of these accomplishments.
