I obtained a doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida Campus in September 2019. As you can see in my resume, I have excellent experience as a chiropractor, examination doctor, RCA as well as clerical duties. I believe I have all the qualities and efforts that contribute to the high patient satisfaction ratings. Having been born and raised in Puerto Rico, I am naturally fluent in Spanish as well which has proven to be a great skill for the diversity in patients. I respond well to constructive criticism and am always looking for ways to not only improve myself, but also my coworkers around me. As the chiropractic intern, I confer with physician the progress of patients and adaptation of the treatment program, provide input on patient’s progress, take medical histories, record vital signs, perform all physical, neurological and orthopedic examination. Treat patients by adjusting the spinal column by manipulating soft tissues and joints. I am trained and educated in al techniques especially Diversifies, Gonstead, Thompsom, Activator and Flexion/Distraction. I am trained in SmartCloud, EClinical, HealthFusion, HIPAA compliance and CPT, ICD and billing codes in order to create care plans and train fellow interns. I provide patients with excellent and careful care with their therapies such as ultrasounds, MS, Tens Units, Cold Laser, Graston, Active Rehab or any other therapies they needed. I conduct X Rays and assist in all Spanish translation to new and existing patients.

I focused on organization and making sure every intern was active during the shift to minimize the overall workload in the Mod with the income of patients. helped maintain high collection rates by ensuring patients were informed on their deductibles during their initial visits and securing payment every visit thereafter. Patients were also given follow-up dates post-visit and were called on the afternoon prior to their appointments as a reminder. An efficient patient schedule was established to allow extra hours of personal time for the doctor and medical samples were alphabetically organized for easy accessibility.

I have experience with conservative management of patients with psychosocial problems, particularly recovering addicts, as a result of my participation in one of our outreach programs. Palmer’s various business development seminars and clinical enrichment courses have allowed me to become savvier in my judgement. During my time I have incorporated passive and active care in my patient’s care plans and always encourage my peers to do the same.

I was a part of a two-person team in charge of researching and designing talks and projects aimed at educating the public on environmental awareness and conservation of natural resources. This team also led the rehabilitation of an obstructed campus area which has been used to host events and generate income for the college.
