ChemicoMays, LLC, at GMCH (Formerly Delphi) Lockport, NY Site Manager – Chemical Management April 2013 – Oct. 2017 In this position I managed the annual purchase of over $2,900,000 in indirect chemical supplies for the plant that are used in manufacturing large volumes of automotive heat exchangers, over $200,000 in cost savings accumulated in 2015.

Responsible for the gas separation facility generating 46,000scf/hr of bulk nitrogen gas for Lockport production processes. o Manage supply agreement with Air Products to supply bulk separated nitrogen 24/7. o Tracking supplemental liquid nitrogen supply usage, deliveries, and cost. o Responsible for collecting credits from Air Products when contractual limit of annual downtime hours is exceeded. o Main interface with Air Products for bulk nitrogen generation plant upgrade and repair projects which includes H&S requirements and ensuring nitrogen supply and cost requirements are met through project completion.

Responsible for bulk helium tube trailer bulk gas supplies used in GMCH Lockport for leak detection.

Maintaining sufficient inventory of all other indirect chemical supplies in a JIT manner and providing the highest quality customer service are priorities in this position.

Responsibilities include tracking usage, cost, and the introduction of alternative products and process improvements that will reduce costs.

Manage chemical shortages to avoid any interruption to manufacturing processes.

Logistics of indirect chemical supply deliveries to points of use throughout the plant.

Participation in the Hazardous Material Control Committee which approves/disapproves new chemical usage requests throughout the plant.
