Awarded a fellowship by the Human Rights Department at Trinity College to complete a summer internship at the CT Fair Housing Center
Researched housing discrimination and eviction cases filed in the State of Connecticut during the COVID-19 pandemic and identified whether these cases (and the landlords) violate the moratorium placed on residential evictions
Followed up with research on landlords (and their lawyers) who had filed multiple cases and had multiple cases pending and identified complaints about the conditions in the apartment complexes to get a sense of how many people are being evicted at a specific complex and the outcomes (or dispositions) of those eviction cases
