I held the position of Clinic Nurse for Mercy Business Health. As Clinic Nurse, I had the opportunity to work one on one with many of our SMB and Corporate Clients. During these interactions with our business clients, I was responsible for facilitating clear and concise communication between the client, workman’s compensation adjusters, the patient, and the doctor. Due to my unique ability to build, maintain, and foster business relationships, I was also asked to work with new clients. The reason was to ensure they fully understood the full scope of services that we provided. Not only did this help the clinic from a financial aspect, it allowed the client the opportunity to streamline efficiencies within their organizations. Providing high quality customer service also meant that I would accompany the physician to business client locations for on site needs analysis. I took great pride in streamlining operational activities such as creating and implementing the nursing schedule, ordering supplies, and staying abreast of the ever-changing rules and regulations by JAHCO and OSHA. Recognition of my effective and efficient practices by management also allowed me the opportunity to develop from inception to completion a Disaster Response Plan. This plan was developed to interact in conjunction with a City Wide response team.
