Motivation, Skills & Experience:

During my career, I have used different methods of analysis as searching, collating, and recording information for personnel, private companies, and other entities that have been engaging with the Albanian Armed Forces.

Moreover, for specific topics (as given by superiors) the management of data that I have collected and processed was crucial for the analytic processes. I have supported also analyzing security incentives in high-level events in NATO and Albanian Armed Forces. I was involved in planning, coordinating, and enforcing all protective security measures related to the Military Committee Conference held from 15-17 SEP 2017, in Tirana Albania. During this event, I have supported the coordination of all actors such as u intelligence and counterintelligence components, security components, close protection teams, and military components.

This event allowed me to see and deal with multiple challenges involving security, counterintelligence, and intelligence planning.

An example of a time I exceeded customer expectations:

During certain tasks from the superiors, I always use clear, logical steps and judgment to

Understand an issue from all angles before proposing a solution to the seniors. During the analysis processes, I have used different analytical tools as association matrices, link diagrams, or synchronization matrices for correlating different entities and providing strong judgment and supporting vetting process and security. Additionally, as a Current Intelligence Chief in Intelligence Fusion Centre of J2 KFOR, I have been employed different analytical processes and tools including Analyst Notebook. I have applied NATO Indication and Warning System methodology on creating scenarios, indications and warning and analysis for threat. I have used as well analysis of competing for hypothesis a very useful tool that enables the creation of different hypotheses and tools for weighing each of the hypotheses according to evidence that has been collected and processed during the work. I have applied critical thinking as the main core concept in analyzing different events and information. Moreover, if executing action is needed apart from various intelligence sources like surveillance, HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, and reconnaissance, the information coming from collation sometimes makes the difference since this shows the history of the topic.

Communication skills:

As a team leader, I have applied different methodologies that enabled me to building coordination of all efforts in the team to achieve success. These included the focus on the problems rather than focus on each member’s pattern in the office. I have maintained the unity effort by involved also in dealing with challenges that team member has faced. During this work, I did not apply that traditional banner “I am the boss”. However, I have worked together with the team to give a proper example of how a task is achieved and support if necessary. By giving, an example increased the personality and respect within the team. I have been open-minded to the problems and as well for good practices that came from other members of the team that I have managed. Talking with the members of the teams that I have managed was very crucial even in moments that are more critical. I would focus my efforts on building a very strong communication to understand as well the problems that a person would have and thus avoiding challenges to the teamwork.

The communications in the group proved to be perfect to me by providing general information, education, and praise; I tried to avoid individual direction or criticism in the group. I have used, praises in public, and I have used criticize in private for each team member by identifying problems but as well as giving guidance and

Direction on how to overcome problems. I have always met with my team members face to face to avoid any misunderstand confusion or conflict. That enabled as well to understand more the team members by looking at their reactions to the conversation that have been involved and assured level of comprehension and the agreement by the team members. During my job, I have worked with basic and more advanced databases, which were used in Albanian Armed Forces and NATO, including formerly Joint Operation Intelligence Information Systems (JOIIS) and NATO Intelligence Toolbox (NITB) and with the current one Intelligence Functional Service (INTEL-FS). In Albanian Armed Forces I have used simple databases such basic based on excel formats and ones that are more complicated especially those I have employed for personnel vetting as a personal database, and other. During these processes, I have used extensively the search and exploitation methods of the database.
