GENERAL:
I have no problem communicating with people in any form(telephonically, electronically or personally)whilst maintaining a professional and politemanner. I am also able to self monitor and manage, while I ensure that my work is done neatly andefficiently.
SUMMARY:
Over the past ten years I have been very involved in the management, human resources, finance and general administration for three lodges which have the same owner, two of these lodges are rather big with approximately sixty rooms in each and one with only twenty rooms, and total staff members ofapproximately eighty. I have filled numerous positions within the three Lodges. Starting my career as a receptionist, I have worked my way up to management positions. Although I have enjoyed the challenges of working with the group, I would like to focus my attentions more on the finance and human resources aspects of business, as opposed to guest house/catering management. I have recently completed a long distance HR Management Diploma course with SAIM (South African Institute of Management) and intend on starting a financial management diploma course in the near future, as a formality. Even though I have been in the same industry for more than ten years now, I have learned numerous amounts of skills in admin, finance and human resources which I can apply in any industry.
