I've been coaching, mentoring and training men into leadership, healthy masculinity and emotional literacy since 1998. I have been certified as a co-leader since 2009. I've been fortunate in my years with MKP to have served alongside some of the most magnificent men in the world who are creating real change in communities around the world. I will continue to teach and mentor at every opportunity, often using all my time off to attend development weekends. I have lead and facilitated over 150 trainings for men on leadership, missions of service, emotional literacy and personal development. These trainings have 20-40 participants, with 30-50 staff, delivery approximately 100 modules of content across two days. During this time I also traveled extensively throughout North America to serve in a variety of leadership capacities within the organization's New Warrior Training Adventure weekends. I was responsible for the full implementation of the UI for the release of GMnext.com. Working with designers and developers to manage constantly changing needs and designs under a very compressed timeline. Skinned, customized and debugged issues with 2 different Wordpress Blogs and a Mediawiki Wiki. Managed ongoing content updates with custom Admin tools. I assisted with the localization of the main site code and UI for 6 different languages. Handled the cutting and manipulation of comps from creative dept. I was hired on a short-term contract to bring expertise and communication skills to manage on-going maintenance and new development for the company’s largest contract at the time, Ciena.com. I worked with an account executive, designers, and clients to handle ongoing marketing campaigns, bug fixes, content changes within the Reddot CMS system. I was responsible for the creation and development of new Ciena World Wide sites for India, Russia, and Poland.

WEB DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT
I developed an online application for use by over 26,000 men in a world-wide organization that tracks membership, supports staffing and scheduling of trainings around the world and supports the general operation of nearly 30 distributed centers. I was responsible for leading a Front End Web Development Team of 3 people. Maintaining code and troubleshooting bugs to resolution on 60+ sites, both dynamic and static. Created customer front end UI for a new deployment of enterprise level web application. Converting Photoshop mock ups to XHTML/CSS/AJAX web pages for customer interface. Tying in business and service layer with front end functionality using ASP.NET/C# for a planned enhancement of user experience increasing customer sales and agent productivity. Assisting in the migration of legacy sites and systems to a formal development/test/production environment for ease of maintenance.

After my experience with the New Warrior
Training Adventure in 1998 I have been
involved with the ManKind Project
organization. I have certified through their
processes to become a Co-Leader, Mentor
and Coach. I volunteer a significant amount
of my time and energy to the betterment of
men around the world through the efforts
of this organization. In 2009-2010 I was
Center Director for the Intermountain Area
of ManKind Project managing the nonprofit
business with a council of up to 10
volunteers.
Burrito Project, Salt Lake City
The Burrito Project is an organization that
feeds the hungry. I volunteered to make
and deliver food to the homeless in
downtown Salt Lake City.
Self Help Conferences
I have twice volunteered as a board
member to Self Help Annual Conferences. I
oversaw registration and logistical
planning.
