Project works

Did Rural Awareness Work Experience Programme (RAWEP) on rice crop for a period of 120 days and studied about different cropping patterns, management, packaging methods of rice followed in the nearby villages of Parlakhemundi.

Did Agricultural Experimental Learning Programme (AELP) at Bapuji Rural Enlightment & Development Society (BREDS) NGO, Pathapatnam for 4 months and was being a part of various government projects like Maa thota, Ganga maa mandal with the aim to follow organic agriculture, getting aware of sustainable agriculture.

Did Paddy straw mushroom cultivation, learned about different post harvesting practises and value addition during our AELP at BREDS, Pathapatnam.

Completed research work of M.Sc. Agriculture (THESIS) on rice crop at National Rice Research Institute (NRRI), Cuttack and learned about different pest management, nematode management practises of rice.

Workshop and Seminars

Attended a “Seminar on Sustainable Agriculture”, during March 2015 at Centurion University of Technology & Management (CUTM).

Participated in a “Symposium for ICT Agriculture”, during January 2016, at Centurion University of Technology & Management (CUTM).

Took part in “National Seminar on Sustainable Agriculture”, during 2015.

Participated in a workshop on “Integrated Pest Management Training” at National Rice Research Institute NRRI, Cuttack.

Attended a Seminar on “Stored Grain Pest Management” at Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology, Bhubaneswar.

Achievements

1.Recruited for the post of village agriculture assistant (VAA) in Grama Sachivalayam, by the government of Andhra Pradesh.

2.Won 2nd place for the presentation on Hitechpolyhouse development conducted at Centurion University.
