Responsibilities:
Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
Inspect completed work to certify that maintenance meets standards
and that aircraft are ready for operation.
Check completed products for conformance to specifications and for defects by measuring with rulers or micrometers, by checking them visually, or by tapping them to detect bubbles or dead spots.
Performs tasks in compliance with all applicable programs including Safety, Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Hazardous Communications, Corrosion Control, and Tool Control programs
Ensures that all parts/components removed from an aircraft in work are properly documented by a valid Maintenance Action Form and Job Control Number, ensuring repairable, serviceable, or unserviceable parts are properly tagged and turned in and/or disposed of.
Performs scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance actions.
Perform Pre and Post flight inspections, to include cleaning and servicing aircraft I/A/W appropriate maintenance manuals in a timely manner.
Uses common measuring tools, precision measuring gages and alignment fixtures
Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance.
Required to rig, adjust, and track & balance aircraft systems I/A/W appropriate maintenance manuals in a timely manner.
Removes and installs aircraft systems and subsystem assemblies and components including engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, mechanical flight controls and their components.
Services and lubricates aircraft systems, subsystems, and components.
Performing noise and vibrating analysis(RADS) Rotor Analysis and Diagnostic in Bell 412.
Removes and installs engines and auxiliary power units. Troubleshoots, modifies, repairs, and performs sequential disassembly and assembly of gearboxes and auxiliary power units

Perform metal to metal bonding where delamination of surfaces or core material occurs.
Adjust, repair, rework, or replace parts and assemblies to eliminate malfunctions and
ensure proper operation.
Fabricate parts needed for assembly or installation, using shop machinery or equipment.

Determine the nature and extent of repairs to be made using applicable
Technical Manuals (TMs) as guidelines.
