-Developing, Planning and Implementing Purchase strategies.

-Managing Supplier relations & negotiating Prices, contracts & timelines Etc.

-Forecast Price & Market trends for identification of cost saving and cost reduction opportunities.

- Develop multiple sources especially for single source & critical materials.

-Ensure supplies/services quality and cost standards are in the best commercial & operational interests of the company.

-Direct and coordinate day to day, and ensure compliance with QMS and agreed KPIs.

-Receiving enquiry from customer for LCL/ FCL shipment by air/sea mode.

-Negotiating and getting best rate from overseas agent and send quotations to customers.

-On confirmation of Nomination share shipment schedule and shipment follow up

-Coordinate with agent for loading confirmation and pre alert and share with customer.

-Shipment tracking, check list Generation, send to supplier for approval.

-Coordinate with other CHA and customs for tracking shipment activity.

-Follow up with customer for duty payment challan copy & Coordinate with transport team for pick-up and delivery of goods.

-Shipment invoice creation, send to customer for payment.

-Overdue payment tracking.

-Various reports and day to day activity in front office.

-Update and circulate daily status report to customer & various licenses tracking as per customer guideline.

Since Nov’ 07 TO Feb 18 With ITC Limited Agri Business Division, Ahmedabad, as Officer Sourcing & Supply Chain.

-Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.

-Warehouse Management: Selection of warehouse and negotiation with Warehouse Service Provider.

-Stock management through SAP HANA include module Material Management, Sales& Distribution task include PO, SO, STO Creation and generating reports.

-Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, warehouse utilization and costing.

Transporter rate negotiation, Vendor Development, Route Planning and Right truck selection.

-Record all stock movement and deliveries in database and prepare regular report.

-Maintenance of transportation master data, Freight rate, Route, distance.

-Carry out Stock Reconciliation activity during month end and reporting to head office.

-Planning stock movement through coastal route and by road movement for freight cost reduction.

-Handling Export and import in close coordination with custom house agent.

-Supervise overall Sourcing and operations and assist sourcing manager in sourcing of commodities with most competitive prices.

-Commodity Market Analysis, Purchase Review with new and current brokers for competitive prices on an ongoing basis and report to Sourcing manager on regular basis.

-Source the best quote for freight charges and oversee the logistic, dispatch and loading operation and ensure accuracy in procedures so as not to impact operations.

-Maintain records of all daily Sourcing and dispatch and report to all dept heads.
