INTRODUCTION LETTER: ROSINA MATHIBE
My name is Rosina Mathibe. I am a quiet shy person, but I can communicate well with people
especially after getting use to the environment and the people working with me. I am a kind,
honest, hard working person who gets along very well with other people and I strongly believe
in making a difference in society and the community. I like sharing my ideas and have a love
for writing poems and cooking. What I don’t like is people undermining me, as this makes me
feel inferior and as not being treated equally. I like being treated with respect because I am
considerate and have respect for other people.
In 2008, I started working at AMKA Products Company. I was a line worker doing HR Packaging
but to be honest I did not enjoy working there because we worked with dangerous machines
which ended up injuring me, after which I left the job in April 2008.
In 2009 I applied for a course at the Competency Training and Development Centre in
Mabopane where I received a certificate in Business Administration Services Skills. I
completed the following subjects: End user computing, Communication skills, mathematical
literacy, Business administration, Customer care and support and Human resource
management. I am currently enrolled for a Human Resource (HR recruiting) course.
My second job was at Unisa Bureau of Market Research as a research interviewer. My duties
included telephone interviewing, data editing and reviewing and personal face to face
interviews for several different research surveys. I really enjoyed working there as I could
work with people and this was more in the line of what I am interested in doing. It was a
wonderful experience and I learnt so many new skills through the work I was doing.
My goal in life is to, once given a chance, work my way up in a company by gaining more and
more experience so that I can one day be in a position to be a part of a company who aims to
do its part in making society a more positive place. I would love to, one day, either through a
company or myself, really be able to help others by for example raising funds for charities
such as old age homes, disabled adults or children etc.
