Nursing Responsibilities/Duties:

-Providing holistic care to premature ill and well babies, assist in umbilical catheter insertion, assist in endotracheal intubation, assist in giving of surfactant therapy, giving nebulization, OGT feeding, tracheostomy care, suctioning, giving of immediate newborn care and vaccinations of the baby, bathing of the newborns.

-Assessing the airway, breathing and circulation of the babies, attaching the patient to the pulse oximeter and cardiac monitoring.
