Jul 2020 to Present = Thrive Mortgage Loan Originator I returned back to personal production when we opened the Shreveport branch to establish a marketing program for FSBO (for sale by owner) business in Shreveport bossier to use as pre-approved leads when attracting new realtors and loan referral partners (CPA’s,Tax preparers and Credit repair )

Aug 2018 to Jul 2020= Loanstar Loan Originator / Recruiter Working in the north Louisiana and east Texas area locating new referral partners and potential loan officers to build the branch office. Field work with new loan officers to help in production.

June 2017 to Aug 2018 = Supreme Lending Loan Originator / Sales Manager I worked in loan origination developing new referral partners and realtors to originate residential home loans. I also worked in recruiting and development with the new loan officers to add to production and retention. As a part of recruiting, I maintained a database of potential loan officers and not only initiated the initial contact but I setup a follow up system to keep in touch to recruit as situations in their careers changed.

Worked in the Special Finance Department at Landers Dodge Bossier City. I was

Responsible for contracting Non-Prime loans. The department was doing average of 25 loans per month when started stabilized at an average of 85 loans per month. I helped develop and Implement a training model for newly hired salespeople. My job was to sign, structure, and rehash, submit loans and develop lender relations. Maintain contracts in transit list (CIT) within 10-day guideline. Handled funding Issues.within a 3-5 day turn time.

Operating in the capacity of a mortgage consultant my job description is to acquire new mortgage business through various venues. I have focused the majority of my efforts in the internet marketing programs by implementing and launching 9 mortgage marketing website and follow-up system utilizing IVR (integrated voice response) technology to keep track of incoming leads this program grew from 2 sites to over 9 active sites within 10 months.

Nov2004 – Oct 2005: Woodbine Mortgage & Financial Group Inc

While employed by Woodbine my job was to re-build the mortgage department that had been inactive for the past 8-10 months due to the loss of their loan officer and processor. From November 2004 to October 2005 the department was grown to two full time lone officers, a full time processor and two real-estate agent / loan officers. The overall production was grown from one or two loans a month to over 7 million in twelve months with 1.8 million from the FSBO program.

Jan 2000 – Nov 2004: C.P.G. Investments dba 1st Place Mortgage LLP

I along with CPG Investments set up a mortgage brokerage shop to aid in the development of their land home division. As general partner/ principal I set up the office, acquired proper state licensing, set up all wholesale relationships with lenders and recruited loan officers, processors and support staff to handle the various aspects of the business.

Sept 1991 – Jan 2000: New York Life / Met Life Manager of Sales/ Recruiter

As a Manager with both companies, I was in charge of recruiting new agents within target markets, developing existing agents and keeping the local office running in a profitable manner. I worked closely with the agency manager on seminar recruiting and job fairs as well as individual career counseling to develop a winning sales team while at New York Life in 2000 the Shreveport La office had its best record year in over 50 years of service.
