Instituted a “shift-left” mentality to prevent costly mistakes during project implementation. Collaborated with directors from various infrastructure programs to allocate testing resources and provide valuable and consistent testing metrics and artefacts.
Increased test coverage from 10% to 95% of all US projects which led to increased implementation and project delivery efficiency.
Reduced project over-runs by an average of 30% through the introduction of automation tools and frameworks to mitigate defects early in the project lifecycle.
Led efforts to transition the team from Waterfall to Agile by coaching team members in Agile practices, efficiently performing static testing of user stories, setting up Jira dashboards, and executing test scripts using Xray.
Reduced manual testing requirements by over 50% with the introduction of automated tools scripted in PowerShell to test critical network infrastructure equipment including WAPs, routers, switches, and UPS systems.
Pioneered strategic direction in all aspects of QA including process and practice development, strategy, resourcing, procurement, coverage, and SDF best practices.
Normalized test deliverables by developing and standardizing templates such as Test Strategies, Test Plans, Run Books, Execution Summary reports, Defect reports, and Closure reports.
