Position Store Manager


To provide leadership and direction to the store and ensure the achievement of store

profitability and customer service deliverables through the effective execution of company

policy, processes and instructions and though the establishment and maintenance of effective people and process management practices. Understands the trading environment and develops and ensures implementation of the plans to achieve profitability and customer service deliverables under dynamic trading conditions.

People Management

- Develop store workforce plans

Customer Service Delivery - Store

- Manage the store customer service plan

- Assumes overall accountability for the correct implementation

of store layout, merchandising, signage and visual standards for ease of shopping.

- Manage and maintain the stock pipeline to ensure that stock

is displayed on the sales floor in accordance with the chain guidelines.

- Ensure correct and timeout implementation of store’s

promotions, markdowns and other chain communications.

- Ensure appropriate staffing levels to support customer service

requirements aligned to business trading patterns.

Merchandise Management

1. Conduct weekly analysis and interpretation of all stock management reports to manage the store performance.

- Manage store to head office communication to address stock

issues and problems such as out of stocks, ordering, trends etc

- Ensure data integrity through effective stock control

- Ensure store merchandising standards are in line with chain


- Manage, communicate and implement promotional activities.

- Manage the entire stock flow

- Ensure that Inventory is signed off daily


- Ensure store adhere to OHASA

- Schedule staff for OHASA trainings

Cash Management
