• Company Godrej Aerospace division is engaged in the Hi-Tech Aerospace Mfg. Activities, had its beginning in a small way back in 1985, with development of critical, high precision spacecraft components, made out of exotic materials. Today, Aerospace is executing major Aerospace projects involving precision machining, Precision fabrication (Welding & Brazing), Surface treatment, Assembly, Testing supply of complex & Air worthy Systems.

Work Profile:-

• Programming for Laser cutting machine (Bystronic Fiber Laser machine).

• To reduce cutting time, provide accurate cutting technology to blank recognizing all cutting parameters.

• Developing laser layouts to utilize sheet metal material efficiently by reducing wastages.

• Programming for press brake machines (LVD)

• Study sheet metal blanks (Brackets) & sequence the bend process.

• To develop database for various combinations of punch and dies for special material and thicknesses of aerospace grade Inconel, Titanium and Stainless steel.

• Calculate bending allowance (BA value-K factor) to ensure correct sheet metal blank development.

• Designing bump tag resting tabs in models for complicated bending.

• Providing Corrections and ideas in the production line to enhance result areas such as quality, productivity, cost, etc.

• Maintaining configuration data for Laser and Press brake programs, Write and Maintain Operating Procedures.

• Generating improvement ideas and putting it through Kaizen and Poka-Yoke platform.

• Rolls Royce - Development of XWB engine brackets comprising simple to very complex Aerospace components. Worked on very exotic materials like Titanium, Inconel and Stainless steel alloys.
