ENGINEERING CAREER SUMMARY
I have completed a 4-year Bachelors Degree in Production Engineering. I have been working as an Engineer for over 18 years – including 12 years as a Quality Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer in the aviation industry. I have amassed considerable knowledge and experience in auditing and qualifying changes to production processes and procedures in order to ensure compliance with the company Quality Management System. Production processes and procedural changes include new product lines, process improvements (promoting efficiency), implementing cost saving measures, production rate increases, etc. I have utilised a variation of specific business tools, listed below, to resolve technical, quality, compliance and production process issues for installing and qualifying production equipment to specification requirements, and for the fabrication, repair and restoration of Aviation components (engine and fuselage) to engineering and specification requirements. I also have considerable project management experience, working with cross-functional teams on major production cost-reduction and production efficiency/improvement/modification projects – where I have delivered completed projects within agreed completion dates. I so have experience leading multiple projects simultaneously to address production issues and reduce costs. I have considerable experience in a broad range of industries, such as – anauto-mechanic, a carpenter in the construction industry, as well as working in both the hospitality and retail industries. This broad experience, combined with my engineering experience, allows me to adapt quickly to address urgent production issues, as well as giving me the people skills to successfully to deal with cross- functional teams whilst managing the completion of both short and long-term projects in an efficient and timely manner. I react rapidly to changing priorities. I am friendly, easy to work with, a strong team player, capable of getting projects completed, and I can motivate team members with different backgrounds. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Yours Sincerely
