GCMS is a Siebel based Immigration application handling different categories of immigration applications like SP (Student Permit), WP (Work Permit), eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization), EE (Express Entry), IEC (International Experience Class) and their sub categories. Automated the scripts using RFT (Rational Functional Tester), an IBM automation tool. Worked with Siebel 8.2, as the COTS application to build scripts and automate them using RFT. Used TFS (Team Foundation Server) as a test management tool for assignments, defect management and test management tool. Used java for automating the scripts in RFT and user stories for better understanding.

The FCMS Project’s key objective is to implement a Case Management System that enables FRO to transform from a reactive, issue-driven service delivery model, to a comprehensive case management service delivery model.

The FCMS Solution must support FRO’s business vision and Strategic Modernization Plan by replacing fragile legacy systems and addressing current challenges in business and financial processes, information technology, and the service delivery model. FRO’s COTS case management strategy, complemented by the FCMS technology, will promote its mandate to ensure that children and families get the support payments they are entitled to as expeditiously as possible.

To this effect, FRO has selected Siebel 8.1 as the Case Management System supported by Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) for the financial back-end. Communication between Oracle EBS and Siebel, as well as a number of external organizations, will be handled by IBM WebSphere.

Case Management application. Entire business process including interfaces will be gradually replaced by IBM COTS solution. The new interfaces will be developed using IBM Curam software, integrated with Siebel CRM 8.2.
