AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Won the top prize for photography at Global Village awards, Dubai, in 2015.
The Society for News Design (SND) Special Merit Award for a pictorial on the “Strait of Hormuz”. I photographed American naval officers in action while staying aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln stationed at the Strait of Hormuz off the waters of Bahrain in 2010 in view of escalating tensions between Iran and the Gulf nations.
Winner of the first Arab Union Photojournalists award in 2004. Third place in Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship 2002 and Certificate of Merit in Nikon competition.
Covered live matches at Dubai Tennis Championship from 2004–2018.
Participated in group photography exhibitions during Dubai Summer Surprises and Dubai Shopping Festival.
