Meg’z Crib Grill & Bar – Waitress/Cashier (April 8, 2015-July 3, 2016)
-As a Waitress: Greet customers before entering the restaurant. Assisting customers into their selected/assigned table. Present menus to customers, take and write customers food orders on order slips. Serve food or beverages to customers, and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required. Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. Clean tables and remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, take them to kitchen for cleaning after the customers finished dining/drinking. Collect payments from customers. Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpet, tidying up server station, taking out trash, or checking and cleaning bathroom.
As a Cashier: Welcome customers who enter the restaurant and ensure that they are being looked after by waiters. Change prices or tax information on menus as per instructions from the management. Calculate customer’s bill. Check bills to see if the correct amount has been displayed and print them out. Place printed bills in folders to be presented to customers. Take cash payments in exchange of services rendered.
