The primary responsibility of this role was to design and develop the training materials needed for the business alliance with Ace Hardware.

In this role I hired, on boarded, and developed a completely new Training & Development team which included the Instructional Design function, the eLearning Development function and the LMS function within the organization.

Managed a staff of Instructional Designers, eLearning Developers and the LMS administrator.

Researched and assessed seminars, courses, workshops, delivery methods, etc. for possible in house use.

Design and launch a Management Training program for our retail audience.

Designed and facilitated Train the Trainer sessions for new courses.

Manager – Training & Development Projects January 2011 – September 2012 The primary responsibility of this role was to manage assigned training projects from concept to implementation and evaluation. This role involved meeting with internal and external customers to determine project scope and strategy and then see the project through to completion. This was done by working with key stakeholders, subject matter experts, internal resources and vendors to ensure success.

Managed multiple projects including Instructor-Led Training programs and eLearning curriculums.

Lead the development of a Certification Program for retail store professionals.
