RESPONSIBILITES

Conducting inspection of Raw materials and review of MTC and the specification requirements.

Reading and interpreting the various drawings (P&ID,GA drawing, Isometric &Spooling) required in the piping fabrication work erection work.

Preparation and approval of work procedures and inspection test plan for piping according to the project requirements.

Conducting and witnessing the welder qualification skill test in accordance with the approved WPS

Surveillance and monitoring process activities like fit-up preheat and welding, preparing inspection report for the day to day activities.

Ensure inspection and test equipment is serviceable with in calibration period .

Monitoring the welder performance on the basis of acceptance of NDT testing of joints, maintaining the record as per line History.

Responsible for timely inspection during fabrication and construction, proactive in the prevention of non compliance and problem resolution.

Witnessing & reviewing NDT activities in welding compare with codes and standards.

Coordinating with clients for qc issues and coordinating with third party inspection agencies for offering the stage as per inspection testing plan (ITP).

Preparing QC documentation for handling over to the client and maintaining proper filling system

Verifying the piping test pack to undertake hydro test, inspection activity and initiate punch list.

Witnessing all test activities like flushing Hydro test etc.
