DEEPA JAMES
I am skilled in the field of both UX Research, product (UX) design and human factors engineering. I am self motivated. I am a hard worker and thrilled to learn new things. I can work well in a team. I have completed masters degree in cognitive neuroscience and bachelors degree in psychology. I had been motivated by this subject to select ux field as part of my career. For me, UX field is an interesting area in this modern technology, which encourages to develop new products which is friendly for humans. Deepa is seeking for a new opportunity to make this fact true. WORK EXPERIENCE

PROJECTS
1.Effect of music on memory
Through this study it was found that,
music has an effect on memory. The study
was conducted under three different
experimental conditions, which were pop
music, non pop music and with no music.
The participants was supposed to learn
some nonverbal words under these
conditions and they retrieved it later. This
study has found that, the participants
learnt words while listening pop music
could retrieve more than the rest of the
conditions.
2.Relationship between curiosity and
exploration in perception of their
PROJECTS
problem solving behaviour
This study was aimed to assess the
relationship between curiosity, exploration
and perception of their problem solving
behaviors and attitudes among PUC
students. This study was found that, the
participants who are motivated to to seek
out knowledge and new experiences and
willingness to embrace the novel uncertain
and unpredictable nature of everyday life
will be more capable to solve the problems
in their day to day life.
3.Computational modelling in cognitive
Neuroscience
The study was intended to find out the
opportunities and challenges of
computational models. The conclusion of
this study is, the results of model
simulations help researchers make
predictions about what will happen in the
real system that is being studied in
response to changing conditions.

Cognitive deficits caused by traumatic
brain injury
A library research has been done to find out
the cognitive deficits caused by traumatic
