Prepared detailed engineering design based on Shell DEP’s to ensure equipment and system reliability. Produced mechanical and piping design drawings such as layouts and details relating to modifications to existing equipment and installations or related to new projects for all refinery complex for oil, gas and condensate facilities. To achieve this, includes carrying out research in the archives, taking measurements, making sketches and familiarizing with the scope of work and area. vii.Inspecting all of the parts of the piping system each fabricated piece, straight length of pipe or fitting shall visually check for dirt, rubbish, grease loose scale etc prior to assembly.

viii.Secures that all piping shall be installed in such a manner that the resultant force on the equipment shall be kept to minimum. Proper care shall take at connection of joint to pump, compressor and other mechanical equipment. Flange alignment check shall also perform and witnessed.

ix.To ensure that all spools are uncoupled and isolated from rotating equipment until all welding is complete.

x.Secures that all piping openings shall be sealed before, during and after erection to prevent the ingress of moisture and foreign materials. Flanged or threaded ends shall seal with tape, plastic or plywood.
