Routinely interface with owner, chief financial officer, accounting, engineering, General Contractors, local governmental agencies, Design Engineering firms, and others to develop smooth and profitable operations. As operations manager oversaw the implementation of company policies and procedures, safety coordinator, and all logistics to ensure smooth functions within the construction environment.

• Successfully oversaw the development and implementation of our own in house engineering firm to streamline design build operations which allowed for field corrections to be made quickly to prevent loss of job profitability.

• As the Safety manager-Successfully authored and implemented the 15,000 word safety program which took the Workers Compensation modification rate from 1.6 and reduced it to .99 enabling the company to realize annual savings of over

$250,000.00. Achieved a zero loss time accident rating for 6 consecutive years, one year after initial implementation.

• As the contract representative for the owner, read and signed every major contract. Read, approved, and signed over 800 contracts over a 9 year period none of which resulted in any negative or legal losses for the company.

• Generated, oversaw, implemented and signed every change order for the company. Responsible for over 4 Million dollars in annual change orders, routinely generating over 30% profit margins.

• Routinely worked with legal representatives to defend the company against any and all legal matters, testifying in several arbitration hearings and defending the company successfully on many occasions to stave off potential monetary damages. Was reliable in many instances to represent and defend the company as a recognized expert in construction matters.

Oversaw sales, estimating, contracts, construction, design, and day to day operations as a full service General Engineering Firm specializing in the construction of major projects including roadways, water/sewer mains, concrete

sidewalks, foundations, and small building construction. Successfully led and operated a profitable company that built several large projects for local municipalities, State of Colorado, Federal, and local projects.

• Routinely traveled throughout Western Colorado to conduct project reviews and update schedules to ensure profitable and completed projects. Regularly working in the field operating equipment, laying pipe, pouring and finishing concrete to work alongside employees to ensure quality craftsmanship, and owner satisfaction.

• Performed all aspects of design build requirements, meeting with local officials, manufacturing companies, equipment manufacturers, Engineering firms, legal representatives and many others to ensure project completion and overall job quality.

• Successfully oversaw the annexation into the city of Montrose the single largest piece of property in the cities history, working with the city attorney, and the city council to complete the annexation. Worked with the land owner, and organized a development group that was successful in developing a former large cattle feed lot operation into a 600 homesite, 18 hole championship golf course development. 24 HOUR CHARITY EVENTS FOUNDATION

June 1987 to May 1994

Founded and created the 24 Hours of Aspen Ski Race. Responsible for the creation of the world's first and only 24 hour continuous ski race which was a vehicle used to raise money for national charity. Successfully organized 300 volunteers, 10 racers from 5 International countries (Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland and Japan), all corporate sponsorships, national television and media, logistics required to hold this event on an annual basis. In the 15 years of existence the event raised well over 10 million dollars for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, and AMFAR- The American Foundation for AIDS Research. The development and implementation of corporate sponsorships with Range Rover, American Airlines, Hard Rock Café, among others enabled us to donate 100% of the money raised for charitable causes. In 1987 I became the first and only American skier to have ever held the world's record for the most vertical feet ever skied in one day. Not only was I the event founder and organizer but I skied in the event every year from 1987 until my retirement in 1992. The race requires the participants to make continual runs for 24 consecutive hours at speed in excess of 95 mph.

Routinely traveled to New York city, Dallas, and Los Angeles to secure corporate sponsorships with Range Rover, American Airlines, and Hard Rock Café. Was tasked with overseeing, scheduling and training 27 other military Police Officers for use in this program. As well as program director I also rode nightly from 8:00 pm until 5:am my own shift where I worked with 10 agencies surrounding Ft Hood Texas including DPS (Texas Highway patrol) Bell County Sheriff, Temple Texas Police Dept, Harker Heights Police Dept. Copperas Cove Police Dept, and others. Successfully integrated military police and civilian authorities to work in unison to apprehend, process necessary paperwork, make routine court appearances, and transport military personnel back to Ft.
