Resume:

Enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer with *+ year of exposure in carrying out Thermal, Structural and

Flow simulations by Using and Understanding commercial CFD and FEM tools to solve Industry and Academic problems. Believe in Innovation through Engineering, Modeling and Simulation leads to the creation of a Sustainable and better world

WORK EXPERIANCE

AUG-2020 – OCT-2020 PUNE

CAE ENGINEER (ONLINE RESEARCH INTERN), SIMULATION LAB PVT LTD Worked on Theory development of a patent project titled MULTI-FEATURE ON WING TO ENHANCE AERODYNAMIC EFFICIENCY using ANSYS workbench lineup tools for simulation lab a ANSYS partnered company. JUN-2019 – JUL-2020 BANGALOR

PROJECT ASSISTANT, NIHARIKA COMPUTATIONAL ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS PVT LTD Worked on multitude industrial and academic projects using CFD while simultaneously mentoring software’s like ANSYS FLUENT, CFX, ICEM-CFD to the trainees.

• Interacting with clients and generating presentation, reports for the Simulations performed.

• Grid generation of complex domains using Hexahedral or Tetrahedral or Hybrid elements based on the problem and time constrain.

• Understanding the thermal resistance to ambient and P.C.B’s, layers in P.C.B and incorporating these phenomena’s in the software with internal radiation model in various Electronic Components Simulation.

• Extraction and Grid generation for complex flow domains with suitable ypluss value. Performing CFD analysis and validating with the experimental data for stringent medical Device Canister.

• Effects of vorticity, Mach number, shock wave propagation, lift and drag in the presence and absence of canard and their importance are visualized in Wing with Canard project.

• Individual subsystems like radiator, CAC were verified using simulation, viscous and inertial coefficients are extracted from them for Car Underhood Thermal Analysis and Break Cooling.

• MRF model, porous Zone and ungrouped heat exchanger models were used in assembly model which incorporates the actual model.

• CHT Analysis on a Vacuum Blazed Induction Furnace with Incorporated radiation enclosures and view factor calculations.

• A phase changing material was modeled and multiphase flow transient simulation was performed to validate the experimental results and modifying with agitator in Multiphase Flow Analysis on Dairy Device project.

• Solution was provided using CFD for the difficulty of closing the lift doors due to the high pressure created by wind entering through the windows in Flow Simulation in a Building project. MAY-2018 – JUN-2018 VIZAG

INTERN, HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM CORPORATION LIMITED

Assigned to the maintenance department and studied the functioning of various units, layout’s and mechanisms in the plant. Concentrated on HEAT EXCHANGERS that are used in different units and maintained in the plant. NANDA SAI KUMAR KOLLATI
