Work Experience:

Worked with Hotel Preeti Executive Satara, as Assistant Front Office Manager from August 2015.

As an Assistant Front office manager, my sole responsibility covers the overall operations of the front office department. I am accountable for maintaining a professional work environment, staff supervision, and administrative support for the complete hotel operations. Overseeing phone reservations and room assignments, greet and registers guests, and fulfill requests for special services, such as meetings or transportation. Dealing with any Guest problems, and may offer discounts, adjustments to bills, or complimentary rooms to compensate for the inconvenience. Also, meetings with other department managers, such as marketing and revenue, to find ways of improving the guest experience.

Working with Angriya Sea Eagle Cruises as Assistant Cruise Manager from August 2018 to March 2019.

As an Assistant Cruise manager, I joined the pre-opening team. My sole responsibility covers the handling of Guest embarkation & disembarkation. To take care of all guest queries and complaints with regards to amenities onboard. Assist Cruise Manager in the day to day Cruise operations. Worked with AIDA cruises, Germany as Assistant Crew Purser from May 2015 to July 2015

Whilst working as an Asst. Crew Purser the responsibility includes taking care of the crew and their needs and requirements on a timely basis with the cooperation of Crew Purser.

Roles and responsibilities

Includes to ensure all the embarker and disembarker crew, all arrangements are made on a time-bound basis. The arrangements included arranging valid visas, hotel, and airport transfers, with cooperation with the port agents. During the crew opening hours, need to make sure all crew concerns are addressed accordingly with Crew Purser. All the valid certifications of the embarked crew have to be checked and correctly entered into the computer system(Mistral). All the handling of the crew effects must be entered into the computer system(Fidelio) after embarkation. Have to make sure that all disembarking crew are aware of their transport arrangements and are escorted to the terminals and the transfers. All the process of the onboard Crew Welfare is to be taken care of along with departmental tip distribution. The Crew welfare cash box has to be taken care of with over 9,000 Euros. The cabin checks to be done weekly with senior officers and the protocol to be sent. The safety manning no assigning has to be done for the new embarking crew with the assistance of the safety officer. The safety manning no’s allotment has to be taken care of from disembarker to embarker keeping safety duties and crew certification in mind.

As a Duty Manager Responsible to ensure decorum of operations in the lobby and maintain good relations with the guests, obtaining feedback, and ensuring proper follow-ups.

Worked with P&O Cruises, Carnival UK. Southampton as a Guest Services Executive from March 2008 to September 2011 At P&O Cruises I have achieved all targets and goals and been awarded the outstanding performance award thrice. I have also covered the slot of an Asst. Front Of House Manager & Asst. Roles and responsibilities (Reception Desk)

Whilst working as a Guest Relations Executive my job responsibility is handling all Guest queries, complaints, information requests, and financial services embracing the CRUISE ethos. Also covered the slot of Asst. Front Of House Manager.

Financial services included banking, foreign currency exchange, postage stamp sales, and the administration of guests onboard spending accounts. Supported the Accounts Manager by taking responsibility for GCS reports – completed all queries relating to credit cards and payment issues and worked with the Accounts Manager to protect revenue and control guest debt.

Roles and responsibilities (Night Guest Relations Executive) Supported the Finance Officer Nights for maintaining the financial budget. Duties including a full understanding of Officer Budget accounts and monitor whether they are correctly signed and charged and submitting all End of Cruise reports information to the Accounts Manager. Posting of all medical charges on guest accounts before midnight. Transferring Bar charges of guest micros chits to the right accounts. Counting and being responsible with the Casino count every night and counting the bulk cash and boxes on turnaround night. Updating the Bar Walkabout sheet and submitting two copies to the Admin manager before a certain port of calls. Handling guest complaints at night. Responsible for maintaining the company standards of service to guests and the operation of the hotel department onboard ship. Responsible for the ‘close down’ of the hotel operation at night in liaison with the Finance Officer Nights, the Bar Services Manager, Concession Managers, and the Duty Hotel Manager whilst ensuring that all specified security (particularly high-risk area) measures are undertaken. And preparing the night log with all the incidents that occurred during the night.
