Conduct welding procedure qualification of record (PQR) (As per ASME SEC.IX)
Maintain all the records of welder qualifications and welding Procedures.
Monitoring welding inspection with various material and inspect pre heating & Post heat treatments for particular line.
Daily Monitoring consumable store, check for consumable storage and handling. Baking and Holding oven temperature as per specification.
Raising RFI for Daily Inspection Activities.
Prepare welding inspection summary report.
Visual inspection of the Bevel surface prior to Fit Up.
Visual inspection of the completed Weld ( For Discontinuities and weld profile Etc)
Welding Inspection ( before, during and after )during the Production
Review of radiographs ( Interpretation and evaluation ) as per applicable code and project spec
Preparing additional weld map, joint numbers and send to engineering department for approvals.
Request for NDT and coordinate with NDT crew, review and control the NDT documents.
Carry out 100% weld visual inspection and inspect the hydro test and pneumatic test.
Prepare as build drawing and send to engineering department for approvals.
Make sure that complete works are followed by new revision drawings. Also plan and complete the work as per schedule.
Attend the meeting with clients and implement the plans and also discuss the problems with clients.
Responsible for Punch Closing activities, Reinstatement Check.
Final Walk down of the completed piping works for Project Turnover. Structural Inspection
Review of Contract documents, Client Specification relevant to project execution.
Control of Quality Control documents and maintain Inspection completion status.
Monitor the Calibration of Inspection and Measuring Equipment’s.
Regular Surveillance audit of fabrication shops and project site and taking necessary actions for quality issues.
Material receiving inspection of steel structure.
Monitoring of daily Inspection Activities and Report Preparation and Close coordination with the clients.
Inspection of foundation before Structural Steel Erection.
