Accountable for managing a staff that actively analyzes outstanding tax delinquencies and establishes collection and payment plans, including establishing and complying with collection policies and procedures. Manages the case inventory requiring advanced collection action, such as pursuing legal avenues. Pro-actively monitors high-risk businesses for collection strategies.

§Oversees team member hiring selection, training and onboarding, and performance management as part of delegating tasks to the appropriately skilled worker.

§Effectively collaborated to share ideas and implement a collection strategy with staff members with varying opinions.

Supervised a staff of accounting technicians to manage receivables and complete month and year-end closings and general fund reconciliations. Responsible for work delegation and ensuring accuracy for all ledger and account activities. Collaborated with the Commissioner of Revenue to ensure real estate and personal property tax adjustments were credited accurately. Transferred daily collected state funds for posting to the appropriate ledger and reconciled for balance each month.
