Closed loop control of non isolated positive output buckboost DC - DC convertor The project has been titled as ' closed loop control of non isolated positive output DC-DC converter' . This non isolated DC -DC converter offers improved voltage gain and better efficiency than traditional converters with less complex structure. The closed loop control has been achieved using PI Controller whose parameters have been calculated using genetic algorithm with ITAE ( Integral time absolute error) as the objective function . INDUSTRIAL EXPOSURE

Implant training from BSNL in 2017 - Got an introduction to Distribution of supply by TNEB, Power distribution scheme, Transformers, Air conditioning, SMPS, power to telecom equipments. I had an opportunity to visit the BSNL head office and got a look at the electrical wiring, fire safety systems, mechanical ventilation and lift mechanism. Implant training from Umm Al Houl power plant in 2019 - Got an introduction to preventive and corrective maintenance of a power plant, responsibilities of a technician and an engineer. Studied and saw real time testing of HT motors(IR test, winding resistance tests) and testing of HT switchgears (IR test, Tan Delta test, timing test), Got a tour of Power control centre, Battery backup and GIS facility of the power plant. Industrial visit to Neyveli lignite corporation in 2017 - Learned about the working of a Thermal power plant right from the mining of coals to the generation and transmission of power. Got a chance to visit the swtiching yard and cooling towers and learned about the mechanism of their working.

Industrial visit to National institute of Ocean Technology, Chennai 2018 - Listened to an informative lecture on the Chennai Disaster management plan which was created after the Chennai floods to avert any future calamities and how technology is being used in this plan to deal with disasters and their repercussions.
