Scope of the Project: IPAT is a Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield medical underwriting system. It is used to enter applicants' choice of plans designed to fit a variety of needs and budgets. The application can be tracked throughout the underwriting and appeal process. It is also used to generate Highmark BCBS Medical Review Letters and Reports.

Contribution: Enhanced the system to account for Medicare Supplemental, a Highmark BCBS Medicare product for Minnesota, North Dakota and Wyoming regions. Added a functionality to accommodate the new products’ different choices of Medicaid coverage types as well as Riders that can be selected for some of the plans and to generate a Medicaid Report specifically for Blue Cross and Blue Shield Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wyoming. cope of the Project: New HEIGHTS is a computer system that automates a broad range of programs that are a part of the New Hampshire’s human services. It is designed to meet the Federal requirements of a Family Assistance Management Information System (FAMIS) and is continually updated to meet the changing demand for programs, policy and services required by New Hampshire’s Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).

Contribution: Gathered user and business requirements and translated them into technical design documents. Developed scripts for different sub-systems that include Client Registration, Application Entry, Standard Filing Unit, Eligibility Determination and Benefit Calculation, Benefit Recovery, Confirmation and Client Notices. Accomplished quality assurance for work program ancestor objects and scripts. Contribution: Performed data gathering, prototyping, coding, and designing of database structure. Developed application's data entry for the customers, data transfer from different branches to head office, policy issuance, and approval of insurance application. Created letters and reports’ templates for the approved and declined applications. Other duties were the following:

Scope of the Project: MPlus Billing System is an application developed in Gupta environment. The main functionality of the system is to process Billing of mobile and land line customers. It comprises of 10 modules that include System Admin, Reference, Maintenance, Order Entry, Receivable/Adjustment, Query, Appointee, Reseller, ISP8118, and Reports. The project covers conversion of all modules from Gupta to PowerBuilder platform.

Contribution: Performed analysis, design, and coding for the conversion of programs from Gupta to PowerBuilder environment. Converted programs for different modules such as System Admin, Reference, Maintenance, Query, Reports and Order Entry.

2. Project Name: Singpost Bill Pages

Software Used: PowerBuilder 7.0, Sybase System 11.9

Scope of the Project: Singpost Bill Pages is a program that mainly used to generate mail labels. It also generates reports that will satisfy different criteria for accounts mail label printing.

Contribution: Developed the Singpost Bill Pages alone. Created the application based on the user requirements and met the timeframe accordingly. Performed testing, user acceptance and training, and system implementation. Documented all necessary work flows and processes and produced user manual.

3. Project Name: Conversion System

Scope of the Project: Conversion System is an intermediate tool between Inmarsat Credit Management System (IRCM) and Maritime Billing System (MBS). It is used to populate data from MBS to IRCM in month-end accounting run.

Contribution: Modified different scripts written in Unix Shell Scripts and Macro of Tera Term Pro 2.3. Amended screen layouts of data transfer based on user requirements and created programs for different conversion processes.
