Manager /Sr. Engineer/Engineer/Inspector positions. Storage Tanks Inspection Activities (‘26’nos.): '24' no’s Dome-roof Oil Storage Tanks +'2'no’s Cone-roof FW storage tanks, sizes from Ø10m to Ø30m ranges done by jacking method of construction.

Monitor overall quality functions EPC-contractor’s activities include the tank stage-inspections of that; Verification of tank foundation for Elevation/levelness /orientation, Tank welds vacuum-box test, oil-penetrant test, shell roundness, plumbness, peaking/banding, tank-alignment, hydro-pneumatic test, settlement test etc.

RESPONSIBILITY: I was assigned as Sr. QA/QC Engineer (PMC) to work on behalf of company-HPCL, Execution of PMC-QA/QC role of quality surveillances & overseeing the EPC-contractor’s construction activities & their quality system/documentations comply with the company quality requirements.

Review and commenting on project specific procedures/ documents & inspection records submitted by the contractor, Conduct on-site quality meetings as required. Monitor the contractor site QC personnel in their daily functions, Participate in management meetings, Monitor day-to-day EPC contractor quality control activities (i.e. mechanical, Civil and E&I works) to ensure that all stage inspections are carried out in accordance to the project QCPs/ITPs/drawings & specification.

JOB DESCRIPTION: This Facility Upgrade Project covered seven oil gathering centers (GCs 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 21 and 23) and two gas booster stations (BS140 and BS150).

This project was intended to improve the operational safety of the existing oil and gas production facilities, as well as to install new facilities in order to enhance the oil and gas production capacities.

`Scope of work comprise series of modifications, relocation of all underground hydrocarbon lines to above ground, replacement with more efficient new gas & condensate recovery units, replacement of selected electrical cabling, incorporation of new fire/gas monitoring systems and incorporation of new emergency shutdown systems.

RESPONSIBILITY: Initially I was assigned for responsibility for execution of overall “quality functions” on piping spool fabrications carried out at the sub-contractor (ABJ Engineering) workshop facilities, almost piping Qty.=180000 weld joints and ‘1’ million inch diameter, piping tie-ins between existing and new facilities Qty.=5,500. After completion of the piping fabrication stage; I was assigned as lead QC Engineer; responsible for all stage inspection controls of piping installation & testing of GC3, GC4, GC6, GC7, GC8 for the Facility Upgrade Project.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Foster Wheeler Ltd.-S.p.A., has been awarded as EPC contractor, whereas Supervision contract by The Kuwait Olefins Company ("TKOC") for a grassroots ethylene-glycol unit (EG2 Project). The EG-2 unit is a critical part of the OL2K Program, at capacity of 600,000 MTA of EG.
