Description:
This project aims to add the ability for the customer to place an order using the USPS e-commerce website without logging into the system. This new guest checkout experience features are built using Oracle ATG and integrated with multiple systems like AMS for address validation, Global Payment System for payment details, NOFDA for fraud checks, and NCMS for order fulfillment process. These enhanced features can fulfill the customer's order(s) by persisting all the Order information for tracking purpose(s) within USPS systems.
Responsibilities:

Gordon Food Services (GFS) is North America's largest family-owned foodservice distributor. GFS customers include hospitals, restaurants, educational institutions etc. Distribution Order Capture system is the e-commerce system for Gordon Food Service (GFS) and it is built on top of Oracle ATG and follows a Service Oriented Front End Architecture. DOC project has a clean separation of Backend and Front end functionalities and handshakes via RESTful web services. DOC is integrated with multiple systems like Inventory, Order Management, Routing, Product Management and Customer Management etc. DOC provide B2B ordering an Omni channel experience via Web and Mobile devices. GFS project follows a strict Agile methodology and has a well-defined process.
