Oversees a team of three to five staff with varying levels of experience, an advisory board of 15 and volunteer cohort of nearly 300 to manage USGBC’s most successful local chapter, the National Capital Region Community as well as the Virginia and Maryland Chapters; DMV-wide membership is comprised of 400 individual members, 300 corporate members and 40 Community annual partners; co-chairs three separate 15 member advisory boards to manage volunteer committees, raise funds, communicate and develop annual plans.

Achieves energy and environmental policy goals by building and managing diverse coalitions of stakeholders to advocate for better building codes, indoor air quality standards, zero waste targets and building energy performance standards through events and content; develops personal and professional relationships with local agency staff and policymakers to support local climate and energy goals; works with senior leadership on USGBC’s equity program, the ADVANCE Campaign
