Head of Technology Infrastructure & Operations

Brought in to oversee Investment Bank technology strategy and operations for the Americas division of the Bank of Tokyo US holding company; role expanded to include Retail Commercial Bank technology following merger and driving a multi- year transformation program. Led day-to-day infrastructure technology operations and short-long term strategic technology planning with a $350M overall budget.

Recruited, hired, and trained senior staff. Managed 700 IT resources in multiple locations with $185M annual expense budget.

Drove change management projects ($80M+ annually). Manage execution and positive outcomes while driving transition from waterfall to agile processes with new integrated scrum team structure.

Led implementation of 3-year, $85M IT transformation program with an Agile organizational structure and technology modernization program:

o Facilitate application portfolio rationalization and managed Agile structured migration strategy to the AWS Cloud for critical applications with two week sprints; Drive Data Center consolidation and modernization with converged technologies to drive efficiency and reduce operational-security risks. o Implemented Cloud based ServiceNow tools solution to drive digital automation and integration of technology services; Initiate Cloud based Office 365 solution to modernize end user services and enhance collaboration.

Implemented new ITIL Service Management (ITSM) operating model, changed leadership, up-skilled key SME roles, drove automation / process reengineering with new ServiceNow platform and consolidated a new software release and deployment function:

o Re-tooled release & deployment function (Chef, Puppet) to align with new CICD pipeline.
