I have an overall 28 years of experience in QA/QC department.

Work Experience:

Presently, working as a Sr.Manager in M/s Chandan Steel Limited Umargam (Gujarat) from march 2017 to till date. A leading manufacturing supplying of various grades of stainless steel forgings & flanges.

Worked as a Manager in M/s. Tata Steel Limited ( From Sep 2016 to march 2017) in Bearing & Roll Shop.

Worked as Sr.Manager – Metallurgy & Heat Treatment. (Quality Assurance) Department at M/s.RamKrishna Forgings Limited, (from May 2015 to Jan 2016) which involves production of Front Axle Beam, Steering Knuckle Arm, Crank Shaft and Stub Axle etc. I faced 3 customer Audits.

Worked as a Manager at M/s RSB Transmissions (I) Limited,(from June 1992 to April 2015) a TQM certified Propeller Shaft Assembly Company in Metallurgical Laboratory Department, which involved in analysis of Chemical, Mechanical & Metallurgical Properties.

Current Job Description:

Strengthening the Quality Management System through continual improvement in our work practices.

Responsible for the Operation and the quality of the product after Heat treatment.

Identification and ensuring availability of resources (material, manpower, utilities, and services) required for production. This also includes up-gradation of Plant and process.

Ensure safety of personnel and the plant.

Responsible to define the Work instructions and Issue the Departmental procedures and to ensure compliance of the same in the shop floor.

Department, which involved in analysis of Chemical, Mechanical & Metallurgical Properties along with Special process such as Welding, Phosphating & Painting) from 1st June 1992 to 29th April 2015.

Job Description:

Planning of analysis and work allotment to Asst. Manager, Supervisor’s and. Chemists.

Monitoring analysis of Raw materials, in process samples of Hardening & Tempering, Normalizing, Annealing & Introduction Hardening samples of Forgings, Finished Products Hardness, Tensile Testing, Impact Testing and, Microstructure etc before dispatch materials basing on priority.

Checking of yesterday's night shift analysis and daily calibrations and standardization record of volumetric solutions.

Checking of complete analysis and preparation of MTR`S(Material Test Report) for Dispatch materials as per Standard testing procedures and customer specifications.

Checking of analytical results and Approval / Rejecting Raw materials.

Preparation of working standards, checking of documents for working standard preparation records and maintains all working standards.

Preparation of required Standard Testing Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures and review of existing SOP`S and STP`S.

Training to the Chemists on method of analysis, and all Instruments operation, calibration, trouble shooting and preventive maintenance.

Planning for samples sending to outside laboratory which are not possible to analyze in the Department and checking of its record.

Process monitoring of Welding, Phosphating & Painting.

Preparation of a list of required chemicals, glassware, columns, and other requirements, preparation of monthly indent and Checking of labeling and storage of received chemicals and solvents.

Planning & Co ordination for New Parts Approval.
