Work History

● Memphis BBQ CO. & Steak by Melissa Southaven and Horn Lake MS. Restaurant Manager of both Restaurants February 2018 to October 2018. (Began as a Server and was promoted to Assitant GM)

● Handled all management roles for two concepts; worked along side of the owner to ensure all responsiblitys were carried out to meet goals of labor, budgets and food cost.

● Meet and exceed all Guest needs and expectations. Hired new employees, did orientation and watched progress threw the training process,

● Handled all cash in Restaurant including Bar Drawer, To go Drawer, Severs Cash Out Slips and money they owe to Restaurant, the bank deposits petty cash, and tip share, and all money located in the safe.

● Server- Taking guest order, Relaying order to cook, delivering the food and drinks in a timely manner, get guest their check and take payment, clean table and wash dishes that guest used. Also do your assigned side work for the shift. Get your guest checks in order and ready to turn in at end of the shift.

● Unit Training Coordinator- Train all new employees in the district at the location they were hired, including severs, hosts, greeters, line cooks, prep people and management. Make sure all new hire paperwork was in order and sent off to home office. Make sure they are certified and ready to do the job as asked of Waffle House INC.

● Relief Manager- Worked as Manager on the days that the General Manager was off during the week. Duties included paperwork for the beginning and end of day, handling cash in the registers and the stores safe, make sure the floor was appropriately staffed if not find someone to cover the shift. Hit sales goals and labor goals as well as food cost for the day. Be on call in case of store emergency or staffing needs.
