o Department of Defense: CIOG: Commercial & Business Enablement Branch (CBEB) - Billing Assurance & Spend Analytics

KPMG’s role in the CBEB engagement is to provide support to CBEB’s ongoing objectives with the goal of making processes more robust as well as a view of knowledge transfer to APS staff as they become available.

Sachin’s role in this engagement was to provide assurance for a multimillion-dollar monthly invoices as well as creating monthly Spend Analytics reports. He was in charge of liaising with Service Delivery Managers, Vendor Managers and the Vendor Billing Team. Sachin was also in charge of streamlining internal Defense processes to promote more pragmatic and innovative outcomes.

o Department of Defense: CASG Business Process Modelling – Workforce Estimation This engagement focused on the transformation of CASG’s documented policy, procedural and guidance material into a process model using Holocentric Modelling tool. This particular engagement was to design and implement an improved workforce estimation process to give management assurance that the demand for workforce is met by supply. Sachin’s roles in this engagement included conducting workshops with directors and other relevant staff to build a detailed process map in Holocentric. He was also responsible for managing stakeholder relationships.

o Department of Defense: CASG Business Process Modelling – Simple and Complex Procurement

This engagement focused on the transformation of CASG’s documented policy, procedural and guidance material into a process model using Holocentric Modelling tool. Sachin’s role included assisting senior staff in developing a process model for both simple and complex procurement using Holocentric.

o Department of Defense: CIOG Business Process Modelling This project was commenced by the Aeromedical Evacuation team within CIOG to develop a business process model using Holocentric.

Sachin’s key role in this engagement was to document key processes, risks and controls associated with the administration of the Aeromedical Evacuation team using Holocentric Modelpedia.

o Department of Health (DoHA) – Cost Benefit Analysis The focus of this engagement was to undertake a cost-benefit analysis for DoHAs Canberra properties. Sachin’s key roles in this engagement included:

• Building a cost benefit analysis model;

• Running stakeholder workshops;

• Organizing weekly project updates;

• Assisting in report writing; and

• Managing budgets.

o Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA): Debt Management Policy/ Legislative Review The focus of this engagement was to review the current debt management process and policy in order to produce a new policy which complies with all legislative requirements. Sachin’s involvement with this project included the review of current debt management policies and review of necessary legislations in order to identify gaps. o Clean Energy Regulator (CER): Assurance Framework The purpose of this project was to allow management to obtain a better understanding of individual processes and to have confidence that risks are mitigated with appropriate controls.

Sachin role included the documentation of key processes, risks and control information associated with the administration of the ANREU using Holocentric Modelpedia. o Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA): Budget Review / Master Budget This engagement involved reviewing current appropriation spreadsheets, portfolio budget statements and additional estimates to deliver a robust budget allocation model. Sachin assisted senior staff in reviewing historical appropriations and building an excel model for the finance team for future budget allocations.

o Department of Defense: Defense Industry Policy Division – Finance Sachin’s role within the finance team was to conduct financial assessments, being in charge of creating financial viability reports and costing validation reports for all new proposals within the Innovation Hub. He assisted clients/senior staff with various adhoc requests and was part of a team building an excel model for data consolidation. Sachin, was also responsible for creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Finance team as no previous written documentation. Other Activities

Sachin is passionate about mission work and giving back to the community. He loves to stay active and is involved in numerous sports such as Soccer, Cricket, Badminton and Tennis. Sachin loves to stay connected with the community and has worked his way towards becoming a leader in an international catholic youth group and a south Indian cultural group.
