The Asseco Group is Central Europe’s largest IT company and a top 10 Truffle 100 company with over 2 billion euros in sales and more than 13,000 workers. Gladstone is a wholly-owned subsidiary that runs the core banking projects for Bank Pekao SA (Unicredit Group) (among others), Poland’s largest privately held bank, and a part of the Unicredit Group. For projects in the corporate group, a wide variety of project management frameworks are employed from Waterfall to Agile (Scrum).

Don’s work included Scrum projects for clients moving to cloud computing models (AWS, Amazon EC2, S3) from outgrown infrastructure where he also coached teams and individuals on Agile/Scrum best practices and use of Scrum events: Daily Scrum, Backlog Review, Sprint Planning, Sprint Demo, and the Retrospective.

He deployed a Java-based mobile banking application with the Croatian arm of Asseco that was sold and later deployed to banks on the US West Coast in association with “The Javelin Group” and using SAFe 4.6.

Staffed and managed the core banking software implementation at Pekao SA (Unicredit, Italiano) $50 million+project

NC-Virtual was a Swedish/Israeli led project to develop an inexpensive cloud-computing platform, delivered via wireless LMDS broadband technology. Internet and other services were delivered via a Citrix based thin-client architecture to provide all software as a service (SaaS) with data available via smart card accessible Cloud Services and the Internet to the broadband TV delivered over wireless broadband provided by Ericksson.
