• Designed and successfully implemented a Student Support Protocol during the COVID 19 pandemic, creating a "case manager system" whereby all available non-instructional staff was assigned a student caseload and conducted weekly/sometimes daily wellness checks; assisted with academic issues; addressed internet access issues; and connected families to community resources and operated as student advocates with teachers.
• I also assisted several teachers with transitioning from in class instruction to a virtual learning platform. Served as Tech Coordinator for the remote learning process.
• More formally, as the Student Success Coordinator, I have strategically used student data and analytics to inform decisions regarding early interventions to support student success and retention at CRBR. In utilizing these data sets and information, I have identified entering students who may be at risk for failure, dismissal, or early withdrawal, and assigned early interventions to provide the necessary support, resources, counseling or other remediation as necessary in an effort to increase overall student retention, primarily among freshman students and transfers. I have maintained a 98% retention rate for freshman students this year.
