An Application for the Post of a Receptionist.
I am thrilled to be applying for the receptionist position at the Ivana Resource. I am a highly motivated worker with two years of work experience handling an open desk job at Ganago Bariduura first monie agent at Ukwa East Local government in Abia State. In addition, I graduated from the University of Buea Cameroon with a degree in Performing and Visual Arts. Also, I did Masters in Development Studies with two years of experience though awaiting graduation. My skills and academic experiences make me fit for the role. During my two years as an assistant manager in the Ganago Bariduura POS, I developed many skills to assist with the rapid growth of the Beulah World Enterprise. I was tasked with welcoming customers, making fund withdrawals, making payments, opening first bank accounts to customers, recording transactions details for each day, submitting daily reports, filing customers’ complaints and reporting to the bank, solving transaction issues arising from the customers and their accounts, attending agents meetings with the First bank, at the headquarter, recruiting office staffs. Among the other first monie POS present in that locality, my branch was the best as seen in the many bonuses my boss received from the bank, the highest number of customers we received per day up to 100 customers plus per day and the testimonies received from customers that my attitude is what has been drawing them close to our office for transaction purpose. Again, I have served in Christ Embassy in Abia State in the first timer department whereby, I received those coming to church for the first time, served as a service manager whereby, I coordinated how the service goes[starting time, who officiates what activity in the service, what is to be put in place to have a successful service, served in the follow up department whereby, I make calls to follow up on those who came to church newly, remind the church leaders and members of church meetings and time, pass updates from the Pastor to members concerning church events\meetings [if any], keep track record of all the church members\activities, handle cell meetings as s cell leader and PFCC unit under the auspices of the Pastor in charge. Having studied your job description, I am aware that Ivana Resource is looking for a receptionist that can handle more than the occasional visitor and phone call.
