Description
Johnson Control (JCI) Unitary Sales Tools (UST) software package used by sales engineer for configuration/selection tools to support their sales efforts. This project aimed to support
software package for the York®, Coleman® and Luxaire® brands of residential and light commercial heating and air conditioning products.
UST consists of a Financial/Quoting module and an Engineering module. The Financial/Quoting module includes ability to select residential and or light commercial products with pricing. Standard features like an address book, third-party database with import feature for accessories, and integration with UPGnet.com Order Center and Quote Center will increase efficiency in the sales process.
In the Engineering module, users can obtain performance data, perform mixed air psychometric calculations, and obtain performance data on Energy Recovery Ventilators. The submittal feature provides detailed information about the unit, and automatically populates the project data and job information in the submittal.
Existing UST standalone application has to be redesigned to work as a web application which can run in both intranet/internet and can provide support to IoT. The goal with UST is to decrease the manual activities that occur on a day-to-day basis in sales and design of Unitary Product equipment.

HMIC is a regional Insurance service provider located at the east coast region of United states. With an aim to improve its ease of doing business through agents, and streamline development and delivery of new product offerings, HMIC introduced Personal Line Duckcreek System.
It is a policy administration system which has replaced existing legacy based system. More than 20 states across 4 LOB’s i.e. Home, Auto, Dwelling & Umbrella has been rolled out. Currently project is in maintenance phase and follows waterfall methodology.
QA team is responsible for performing functional and regression testing. Functional testing includes testing of various insurance product rules, rates, guideline, form and underwriting efficiency changes with respect to Line of Business being tested.
