Ensured timely delivery of high quality engineering procedures conformant with BP standards and compliant to regulations for managed pressure drilling, recompletions, tubing replacements, PxA’s and pump change-outs in Texas, Oklahoma, Wyoming and New Mexico. Maintain well integrity during and after intervention operations. Review fracture models to determine proper location for perforating. Performed acid-wash, sand-cleanout, open hole systems frac seat mill outs, SSCSV change outs, drill-outs of plugs and packers, dump bail cementing, installation of gas-lift valves, thru-tubing logging and N2 unloads. Review historical well data to determine best completion design for each region, gather geological data to inform decision making.

Work with extended wells teams to optimize well enhancement solution and present well plan to upper management for approval.

Analyzed approach to performing P&A’s, determined it would be more cost effective to turnkey operations. Performed safety audits for new vendors, reviewed contracts with PSCM, finalized contract for performing all P&A activities including regulatory matters, saving more than $100K per well.

Well Integrity Engineer, North America Gas, (2011 – 2013) Pipe all active wells in the San Juan and East Texas basins to surface for monitoring. Develop procedures to perform lube and bleed activities as required. Provide direction regarding well programs by ensuring that all technical options are properly taken into consideration by the Engineers and Consultants.

Developed risk base database for wells which applied a stricter maintenance interval from problem wells. Developed test plan to adhere to fitness for service protocols and to document anomalies and inspection results.

Provided project management and engineering support during an undergrown blowout in East Texas, working 7 days a week, resulting in safe abandonment of the wellbore without experiencing a loss of containment on the surface.
