I am passionate as about HSE to make certain that my primary objective is impact to the fullest my abilities that people within and around my work area comply with health, safety and environmental protocols. Keep all staff informed of the HSE Policy and take all reasonably practicable steps for carrying it out

Take all reasonable steps to prevent workers from taking dangerous risks.

Assist the HSE Supervisor in arranging employees, particularly the inexperienced and apprentices or new recruits to receive specific HSE inductions and to learn to take HSE precautions.

Conduct Toolbox Talks and HSE meetings for workers

Conduct HSE inspections of plants and workshops and prepare inspection report

Ensure that protective clothing and equipment are used whenever appropriate.

Discourage "horseplay and reprimand those who fail to consider their own HSE and that of others.

Assist in ensuring good housekeeping in the workplace.

Ensure that all plant and equipment are in a safe and secure state when left unattended.

Ensure all documents are regularly updated particularly the company’s OHSMS 45001-2018 checklists.

Stop any unsafe operation/situation and report immediately to the HSE Supervisor

Conduct regular inspection of fire fighting equipment.

Ensure First Aid boxes are adequately restocked.

Contractor management (Construction, Maintenance, Repairs, Mechanicals, Installation): Issuing PTW, inspection of machines and equipment to be uses, safety toolbox talks, monitoring and supervision on the job, review of the JHA and their RA.
