WALMART, INC., Bentonville, Arkansas Project Manager/ Product Manager, 2018-2020

Managed multiple ecommerce enhancement projects to sustain former third-party fulfillment center through holiday peak season. Drove efforts in planning for third-party fulfillment center converting to proprietary warehouse management system. Maintained relationships with third-party software providers and coordinated contracts, requirements, production install, payment, and continued support to fulfillment centers. Supported 16 ecommerce non-sortable fulfillment centers on proprietary warehouse management system (GLS).

•Implemented Transport Layer Security (TLS) communication protocol change between two systems, which provided end-to-end encryption communications security over networks for the prevention of eavesdropping, tampering, and message forgery.

•Implemented a Kafka pipeline, using a Transmission Control Protocol that optimizes efficiency and relies on a "message set" abstraction to naturally group messages together and reduce the overhead of the network roundtrip.

•Implemented multiple ecommerce enhancements to increase a third-party fulfillment center’s processing efficiency from 120k units to 190k units over a sustained ten-day period.

Technical Project Manager III (Tech), 2017-2018

Guided variety of projects, including multiple endeavors found within global logistics solutions e-commerce, order filling, order processing, and shipping software development. Acted as Scrum master, driving Agile Scrum team delivery of code production. Provided project management. Reported to Walmart Labs management via TeamRooster, Confluence, and JIRA tools.

•Implemented Online Order Filling code designed to increase an Order Filler’s productivity and reduce the amount of time an order was being fulfilled. This was a new code/process.

•Implemented serial number coding designed to track firearms as they moved through the warehouse to a store/club.
