Managing projects in regards to new product and tune Tool for mass production

Collaborate with new product customers, and project members

Support for secondary operation if any-(screen printing, painting, coating ect)

Meeting with customer to understand customer requirement and part function and suggest customer to improve product quality if any.

Designing and trouble shooting of all types of plastic injection molds, hot runner systems, gauges, jigs and fixtures with in target price and planned lead time for manufacturing.

Responsible for all aspects of mold design activities including new DFM&FMEA as well as the release and revision of drawings for new and running product.

Follow up ECN/ECR, in order to clear up the issues related with manufacturing and customer side.

Support CAM for electrode design

Lead projects for Tool trial and PPAP approval of injection process and Able to know about PPAP documents, Process Flow, FMEA ect

Monitor and improve the molding defection and continue to maintain process injection..

Monitoring cycle time, machine reliability, tool reliability for ensure are meet to STD of quality and policy.

Able to analysis new tool design, tool trial and oversee with Tool maker/ Tool designer.

Working with Product and Tool Design to ensure that new tools have the strongest chance of immediately succeeding once in production.

Working with Toolmakers on initial acceptance trials.

Ensure that molded cycles times are as short as possible without compromising part quality or machine and / or tool function

Conducting design reviews and clearly articulating design concepts.

Provide and setup 4M for new tools, material, machine, EOAT, Packaging, jigs and fixtures to optimize product quality and minimize rework.

Attend stamping tool reviews and provide suggestion. Professional Experience

Worked as mold designer cum tool maker. As it is small scale factory need to handle design and manufacturing activities .

Spectrum Industries set up around 16 years ago has been diversifying and expanding steadily in challenging and new fields. The injection molding facility was set up at rapid pace and production commenced in record time. ● March 2016-to June 2018 worked as Mold Design project lead at VEM Tooling, Thailand Worked as a design project leader cum mold designer. I was handling all design activities in house and leading a 3 members design team and reporting directly to GM. VEM manufacture high precision and quality molds in China and Thailand. We have sales and engineering offices in the US, Mexico, Germany and India. Our team is multinational consisting of German and American management and local engineers very familiar with the requirements of our international customers.
